Preferred electronic merchant discount rates for MasterCard and VISA:
1.62% for an average ticket size < $50
1.75% for an average ticket size > $50<$300
1.85% for an average ticket size > $500
an Interac fee of $0.10 for each debit transaction
Monthly fee of $20 and one time activation fee of $50.

TD MERCHANT DISCOUNT RATE (CANADIAN CHAMBER PROGRAM)

Discount rates are offered through the Canadian Chamber of 1.69% VISA rate, 1.79% MasterCard rate and $0.09/transaction Interac rate (regardless of volume of business). Realize significant savings, convenience, control and security. Discounts of $0.02/litre on all grades of gas and diesel, 20% discount on car washes and 3% discount on vehicle propane. Petro-Canada also introduces their Pre-Paid Card, available in denominations of $10, $25, $50 and $100. A minimum of 200 litres/month must be purchased to qualify for this discount.
